Anne recently took part in a discussion on the challenges of composition at the Ludlow Piano Festival hosted by BBC Radio 3 Ian Skelly, with Michael Berkeley (BBC Radio 3 Private Passions) and Joel Baldwin also on the panel.

Brainstorm to be released on April the 28th

Anne’s new album of contemporary classical music is due to be released on all platforms on the 28th of April.

Opening the album is music by Ukraine’s greatest composer Valentin Silvestrov. The album was recorded prior to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and is testament to the great Ukrainian culture. Valentin Silvestrov has writtten many symphonies, concertos and sonatas , he writes the most beautiful sound worlds. Head over to AppleMusic for a preview.

Also featuring on the album is the wonderful Australian composer Carl Vine with his sonata n.1, American composer Sebastian Currier with Scarlatti Cadences and Brainstorm, Astor Piazzolla with the trilogy of the angel and Osvaldo Golijov very energetic Levante.

New commission for voces8 Infinity

I was commissioned to write a new work for Voces8’s new album Infinity released on Decca.
It features as the title track.

Infinity made it to number 2 in the classical charts so congratulations to Voces8 on such an achievement!
